Ryan Frederick and Paul Fontaine are back to go over the week that was and is to come in the world of MMA. We start off on a sad note as former UFC middleweight Elias Theodorou passed away from colon cancer at the young age of 34. Ryan and Paul share their memories of one of the more entertaining and likable fighters of the last decade. They then recap the wildness that was UFC 279 including all the card changes that allowed UFC to make chicken salad out of chicken sh**, resulting in Tony Ferguson headlining a UFC PPV in 2022 against Nate Diaz. Khamzat Chimaev rolled through Kevin Holland and Chris Barnett put on the performance of lifetime both during and after his fight. The guys then preview a really solid ESPN+ show coming up this weekend from the UFC Apex, headlined by a key bantamweight fight been Cory Sandhagen and Song Yadong. It's a light news week but the guys discuss Poirier/Chandler official for the MSG show in November and former light heavyweight title challenger Thiago Santos leaving UFC for PFL. To close off the show, Ryan mentions a few key fights that were recently booked between now and the end of the year.
