It was a total shock, but Kanye West made a surprise appearance at PRO WRESTLING NOAH's Sunny Voyage event held at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo on September 30th, 2024.
Known for his enigmatic public appearances, the 24-time Grammy Award winner was seen in the crowd enjoying the action-packed show. West, who had previously dipped his toes into the wrestling world at Alexander Wang's WangMania event, continued his association with pro wrestling by supporting NOAH.

It was during the entrance of Mexico’s Los Golpeadores (Alpha Wolf & Dragon Bane), Super Crazy, and GHC Junior-Heavyweight Champion Daga when West's presence became apparent. Cameras caught the iconic rapper exchanging daps and handshakes with the wrestlers, much to the delight of fans and participants alike.
NOAH took to social media to acknowledge the surprise guest, tweeting, "Great to see Ye, AKA the artist formerly known as Kanye West, watching PRO WRESTLING NOAH in Shinjuku FACE tonight!" The unexpected cameo added a surreal energy to the event, blending the worlds of music and professional wrestling in a way only Kanye West could orchestrate.
As PRO WRESTLING NOAH continues to expand its global reach, having an international celebrity like Kanye West in attendance at a Tokyo show brings even more attention to the promotion, further solidifying NOAH’s place as a major player on the world stage of pro wrestling.
