We'll be back at the beginning of the show with live coverage.

-----

After a very long introductory "movie" with Cody Rhodes, Triple H, and Metro Boomin', we're finally off and running.

Bianca Belair, Jade Cargil, and Naomi welcomed everyone to show and Hell in a Cell is kicking off the show.

Drew McIntyre Vs. CM Punk

They used the cage almost immediately as they tossed each other off it. And Punk grabbed a table from underneath the ring. They also grabbed a chair and a tool box. No dental needles so far.

McIntyre took one of the legs from the table and went to attack Punk, but he was tripped onto the table and Punk grabbed the leg and used it.

Punk's bleeding from the forehead. Drew pulled out a wrench and stuck it in the cut. Drew grabbed another table and the crowd popped huge. What is it with wrestling crowds and tables?

Punk turned the match around with a knee lift in the corner. He had the wrench and came off the top rope with it but Drew caught him and suplexed him. Punk grabbed the tool box and bashed him in the head with it. And then went off the top rope and hit him again with it. Drew is also busted open.

Punk hit the GTS, but McIntyre fell outside the ring. Drew hit a Claymore kick but Punk kicked out at two. Punk put him in a Sharpshooter. They both went down from exhaustion.

In the best spot of the match so far, Drew picked up Punk for a suplex while on the side of the apron and suplexed him through a table that was on the floor.

Drew grabbed the ring steps and put them into the ring. Punk hit a Hail Mary GTS and got a two count. McIntyre grabbed Punk and gave him White Noise on the steps that he previously had brought into the ring. Punk reversed Drew into the Anaconda Vice. McIntyre grabbed the wrench to try and use it to get out, but Punk got it from him and bashed him with it multiple times.

McIntyre baited Punk into hesitating and hit him with a low blow. Drew grabbed a bag and poured what was inside all over his head. There were bracelet beads inside. Drew went for the Claymore again, but missed and landed right on the edge of the steps. Punk got a handful of beads and put them in Drew's mouth. Then he hit the GTS to win the match.

That was a fantastic match.

Winner: CM Punk

Bayley Vs. Nia Jax

Jax started out how with multiple power moves on Bayley. Jax did her own version of the Steiner Recliner. Bayley played cat and mouse. Nia was outside of the ring and when she tried to get back in, Bayley hit a leg drop.

Bayley went through the ropes on a dive that looked bad. Nia set her up for her Yokozuna splash, but Bayley jumped to her feet and went for a powerbomb and Nia was supposed to do a a hurricanrana, but instead, Bayley just took a bump while Nia fell on her back. And for some reason, they showed a replay.

Bayley did a sunset flip bomb in the corner, but Nia landed on her. Bayley hit an elbow off the top rope for a two count.

Bayley got Nia on her back for a Samoan Drop. Nia kicked out and dumped Bayley on the referee and then Nia splashed the referee. Bayley hit a Stunner but the referee was out.

Tiffany Stratton came out with her briefcase and bashed Bayley with it. She gave it to the referee as if she was going to cash in, but then Nia woke up.

Bayley rolled up Nia for a two count. She went to the top rope, but was distracted by Stratton. Was hit with a Samoan Drop and then the Yoko splash for the win.

They had some great ideas in the match, but Nia missed a lot of stuff.

Winner: Nia Jax

Finn Balor Vs. Damian Priest

Priest came out hot with power moves. Balor had to play hit and run.

The story of the match was that Finn would finally gain the upperhand and Priest would hulk up and destroy him. Then, Balor would reverse something, only to get the stuffing beat out of him again.

Carlito and JD came out to help Finn. Priest dumped them over the top. Finn reversed two big moves and hit a stomp off the top rope to his back twice. He went to the well once too many times and was caught in South of Heaven.

Winner: Damian Priest

Triple H came out and said that they were going to have a new tradition at Crown Jewel. The WWE Champions and World Champions would face off. Neither title would be at stake, but the winner would take home the Crown Jewel championship.

Gunther came out to promote his match on RAW against Sami Zayn. He also called out Bill Goldberg. He said he was joking that Bill Goldberg was his favorite wrestler and called him a one-trick pony. He told Gage, Bill's son, that he hoped he was a better father than a professional wrestler. Bill jumped the barricade and took his jacket off. It created a distraction for Sami Zayn to attack Gunther.

The Crown Jewel championship stuff was a bit of a yawn, but the Gunther/Goldberg/Zayn segment was well done.

Liv Morgan Vs. Rhea Ripley

Dom Mysterio is hanging in a shark cage, but the cage isn't over the ring, so I'm not sure how he's going to drop anything into the ring. The cell is in the way.

This is the third match in a row where the optics of the match are similar; one wrestler is bigger and powerful and the other has to play cat and mouse and hit and run to be competitive.

After Rhea had the upper hand early on, Liv was on offense using the barricade on the outside to her benefit. She hit a great Codebreaker off the top rope. Ripley took a great bump.

Rhea reversed the Oblivion, Rhea went for the Riptide, but Liv reversed it for a two count. Morgan hit the Two Amigos, but couldn't hit the third. Dom somehow opened up the shark cage. Rhea hit a froggy splash from the top rope for a two count. She had her in the Prism Trap. They went to the outside and she beat up Liv right in underneath Dom's cage. Dom fell out, but he was hanging from the chain that was attached to his foot. That was quite the trust fall.

Rhea told the ref that she needed a minute to beat up Dom and he just said okay. She grabbed a kendo stick and hit Dom like a child hitting a pinata. Raquel Rodriguez interfered to beat up Rhea and cause a disqualification.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa Vs. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns

After long entrances and a lot of primping ringside, Roman Reigns finally got into the ring to start the match. Solo and Fatu took turns being mean and yelling at Roman while Roman was selling. Roman made the hot tag to Cody who ran wild for a bit, but then was cut off.

Cody would fight out and look to tag Roman, but the heels would keep him in the corner. The psychology is super old school. Cody thought he had the tag ready, but Fatu pulled Roman off the apron.

Fatu went for a Senton off the top rope and Cody got his knees up. Cody had some daylight to tag out, but Roman was still on the floor. He finally made the tag and it was time for Roman to run wild.

Roman went for the Superman punch, but Solo blocked it, went for the spike, missed it and was nearly pinned with a crucifix. Reigns hit a Superman punch for two.

Fatu just interfered and they double teamed Reigns with the combination of the moonsault from the top and the splash from the top on Roman. Cody saved the pin.

Fatu went through the barricade. Cody hit the Cross Rhodes on the floor. He laid Fatu on the announcer's table and hit a splash through the table from the top rope.

Tama Tonga and Tangaloa showed up and distracted Reigns who ate a spear for a two count.

Jimmy Uso showed up and Roman hit the spear on Solo to win the match.

Winner: Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns

Jimmy and Roman walked to the back and Cody got jumped. Roman hesitated at saving Cody but Jimmy talked him into saving Cody and they ran off the bad guys.

The Rock showed up at the end of the show but said nothing.
