We’re back with Episode 11 of Powerbombshells.
My local promotion, PWX Wrestling, had a show on Saturday, May 7 called LUCHAMANIA. It took place in a parking lot outside of Bank of America Stadium. Later that afternoon, Charlotte FC would have a match at the stadium against Miami FC. The show featured BANDIDO, Gringo Loco, Lince Dorado, and Ariel Dominguez.
There was a rain delay during the show which caused the main event between BANDIDO and Anthony Henry to swap to the penultimate match.

Several episodes ago, Mel discussed part one of William Regal’s interview on Talk is Jericho. That led to an episode that focused on mental health and chronic illness. Regal came back for part two on TIJ where he gave a mini British wrestling history lesson. Mel talked about it and about a book she’s read about British Wrestling called The Wrestling by Simon Garfield. She discusses World of Sport, Giant Haystacks, and Big Daddy.
