The rules are simple. We make five picks for each card and a $100 bet on each pick. We will keep track of the profits and losses, the most fights picked correctly, and the number of events won per person. Obviously, if you’re betting, the only important thing is how much money you win and lose, so keep that in mind.
For betting novices, odds reflect the amount of money won or lost on a $100 bet. If the odds are negative, you must bet that amount to win $100. If they are positive, you win that amount if you bet $100.
Additionally, we will give our “best bet” exclusively on our In the Clinch podcast that drops on Tuesdays. Last week, both our picks lost. Ryan had Geoff Neal so his best bets are now 6-8 on the year with a $393.35 loss. My picks are 5-7 with a $179.13 loss after Tafon Nchukwi lost.
UFC on ESPN 24 results
Ryan’s picks went 2–3 with a profit of $131.18. It was his 2nd losing week in the last three. That was his fifth win on the year. Promise still leads with eight and I have two.
My picks were 3–1 with a profit of $325. It was my 2nd straight week with a profit as I try to climb out of the deep hole I’m in. I also won the week for the 3rd time this year as compared to five for Ryan and eight for Promise.
Promise went 3–2 for a profit of $173.82. For the last eight weeks, he’s alternated between winning and losing weeks so if that trend holds true, he should lose money this time.

My picks are 26–46 with a loss of $1,593.69.
Promise’s picks are 37–36 with a profit of $641.87.
Overall, our combined loss is $1,078.92.
