The Big Payback || UFC on ESPN+ 43 Bets

Ryan’s Guide to UFC on ESPN+ 43 went up earlier this week.
The rules are simple. Each of us makes five picks for each card and a $100 bet on each pick. We will keep track of the profits and losses, the most fights picked correctly and the number of events won per person. Obviously if you’re betting, the only important thing is how much money you win and lose, so keep that in mind.
For betting novices, the odds reflect the amount of money won or lost for a $100 bet. If the odds are negative, you must bet that amount to win $100. If they are positive, you win that amount if you bet $100.
In addition, we will give a “best bet” exclusively on our In the Clinch podcast that drops every Tuesday. Last week, mine was Miranda Maverick but her fight was cancelled and Ryan’s was Kamaru Usman, who won. Our best bets are now 4–3 on the year for a loss of $38.53.

My picks went 1–2 for a loss of $162.96.
Promise went 3–1 with a $157.04 profit. He wins the day and has four to Ryan’s one and my zero.
Year to date results
Ryan’s picks are 12.11 for a loss of $104.14. (I mistakenly said he had a profit in last week’s column . . . he did not).
My picks are 8–15 for a loss of $791.95.
Promise’s picks are 13–11 for a profit of $527.05.
Overall, our combined loss is $369.14.
