We Want Flair – What If Ric Flair Went To WWF In 1988?

GG interviews Dave Meltzer in a segment for We Want Flair. What if Ric Flair went to WWF in 1988?
In the latest episode of the Fight Game Podcast, I sat down with Dave Meltzer for our We Want Flair segment. Dave was live at the Tokyo Dome on March 21, 1991. He talked about being at the show live and the match between Ric Flair and Tatsumi Fujinami. He also talked about the booking in 1991, as Dusty Rhodes being brought back in as booker of WCW after a stay in the WWF.
We also talked about Ric Flair’s frustration with WCW. In Flair’s book, he writes the following:
In the spring of 1988, Vince McMahon called me with a straight forward question: “What do you think about coming to the World Wrestling Federation?”
Ric didn’t go until three years later, but what if Ric did go to WWF in 1988?
Here is part of that conversation:
On the latest episode, @davemeltzerWON joins for the #WeWantFlair segment to talk about live memories of the WCW/New Japan Supershow.
We also talk about a major wrestling "what if." What if Flair joined WWF in 1988? Clip is below.
