In this two-parter, GG and John go over two-weeks worth of stuff on the Fight Game Podcast.

After taking the prior week off, the boys are back to talk all that is new in the fight game.

On side A, they talk about Kota Ibushi’s win and the tournament as a whole, including John’s thoughts on his buddy Jeff Cobb’s first G1. They compare and contrast the G1 with SummerSlam, including how Kota Ibushi comes across as a babyface versus Seth Rollins.

John gives his thoughts on TakeOver: Toronto. They both discuss AEW’s Marko Stunt and Orange Cassidy signings. And then they look at UFC 241 and wonder how hot the biggest show of the summer really is.

On side B, they open up the show talking about Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz being scheduled for Saudi Arabia. They compare it to WWE going there the last two years.

They then talk about Smackdown going to Fox and needing a game changer and wondering if Rob Gronkowski could be it.

Then, they talk about the August 2 and August 9, 1993 Monday Night Raws featuring Jim Cornette and the Heavenly Bodies, a cool Lex Luger and Yokozuna contract signing, and more.
