Those in San Diego on Friday saw Hulk Hogan, Paul Heyman, Daniel Bryan, and yes, Sting at Comic Con.

Well, if Sting’s not signed to WWE yet, it sure has to be close.

Mattel hosted a panel at Comic Con on Friday with the WWE superstars I mentioned above (plus Sting, officially since he’s not signed). Sting looked in good shape and in the clip below from WWE (from someone’s smart phone it seems), he says that he always thought he’d be in WWE, but a lot of years passed.

He then said it’s about time.
