Wrestling fans are critical of wrestling, much like hardcore sports fans are critical of their sports teams. From time to time, you can step out of your critical fandom and see things that organizations do for others. Because of the nature of their product with real life super heroes, WWE can cater to a really young fanbase. Most of those young fans eventually grow out of it. But some of us stick around.
I’d heard about the story of young Connor Michalek who had brain cancer and was able to meet his hero, Daniel Bryan.
