Episode one of 24/7 Pacquiao vs. Rios was my favorite episode in 24/7 in quite some time. It rehabbed Manny Pacquiao from someone who I was worried about as a boxing fan into someone who I simply can’t wait to see fight again. He came across as less robotic and more heartfelt than ever. Kudos to HBO for being able to tell stories with great characters. It’s something that WWE has trouble doing even though they’re the ones creating the characters and something the UFC is more miss than hit with these days.
