15 Years Ago Today: Prince Naseem Hamed vs Kevin Kelley (Video)

Dan Rafael tweeted about the anniversary of this bout early today; mentioning how Larry Merchant called it the Hagler/Hearns of featherweight fighting. That, to me at least, is a fair way to describe it. One of the classic shootouts of the 90s.

Naz was the first fighter whose career I followed from start to finish. At his peak, the guy was dynamite. I hadn’t seen this one since it happened, so watching it back was a real trip down memory lane.
