Alistair Overeem Tests Positive For Steroids
According to Dave Meltzer and Keith Kizer via MMA Junkie, Alistair Overeem failed one of his pre-fight drug tests for his heavyweight title fight against Junior Dos Santos.
His A sample tested at 10-1 T/E ratio, which is higher than the 6-1 ratio that is allowable. He can request that the B sample is tested as well.
This failure was from the “surprise” test at the press conference for UFC 146. Dos Santos, Frank Mir, Cain Velasquez, Roy Nelson and Antonio Silva all passed their tests.
