Scott Coker And The Strikeforce Brand

I mentioned to Scott Coker last night that with their new logo and how they’ve attached themselves to the new EA MMA game, that Strikeforce was doing a lot for their brand recently. I told him that I noticed him using his Twitter more (find him @cokersf) and asked him if he would use it like Dana White does to reach out to fans and give away tickets.

He said that he’s not too up to date with technology and joked that people were making him use Twitter. He also said that he fully expects the social media presence to be up to snuff from Strikeforce including being creative with what they do on Facebook and Twitter.

He didn’t want to say he himself would use Dana White as the example to follow with Twitter, but didn’t rule out using it to give away free tickets and other fun things like that.
