Dynamite!! 2009 Line Up Announced
DREAM and K1 will once again join forces for the big Dynamite New Years Eve show in Saitama, Japan.
This year the card will also include fighters from Japan’s other leading MMA promotion Sengoku, as they compete in a number of DREAM VS. Sengoku themed matches.
As in previous years, the event will feature a mix of both Kick Boxing and MMA bouts.
It’s scheduled to be broadcast on HDNet.

There are still a few more fights to be added closer to the date. They have been building towards a Lightweight title fight between Shinya Aoki vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri, so I still expect that to get made. I would also be surprised if Welterweight champion Marius Žaromskis doesn’t have a fight on the bill.
This is the MMA show I most look forward to each year, and it looks like another fantastic line up.
Card looks average so far, im not too hyped for any of those fights yet bar the main event, MASATO’s last match will be full of emotion, so that’ll be a great watch, everything else is just ‘meh’.
Also, Aoki could’nt make the press confrence due to having the flu, the Kawajiri fight will be announced if he recovers in time…

I think most of the cross promotional matches should be really fun. The atmosphere for the Masato fight should be incredible, and I’m really hoping Minowaman can pull off the upset in the Super Hulk. The Satoshi Ishii will be a huge deal to, and it will be interesting to see how he has adapted to mma.
I think they are planning to add two or three more fights. Another couple of big match ups should make for a great show.
Much like with the K-1 show the other day, I’ll go out of my way to try to find the opportunity to watch at least some of this, even though it’ll be on at a ridiculous hour here.
