Mando Ramos (1948-2008)
Steven Springer of the LA Times wrote a great bio on former boxer Mando Ramos, a legendary California fighter based out of Los Angeles. According to Springer, Ramos was inducted into the California Boxing Hall Of Fame just two weeks ago.
Ramos’ boxing career was cut short because of drugs and alcohol, but he regained sobriety later in his life and started the Boxing Against Alcohol and Drugs program.
